FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where do I go to update my profile?

    Click on “Dashboard” then “Update your Student Profile”.

  • Who do I contact if I have questions about setting up my profile or about how the Network works?

    Click the question mark in the bottom right corner of the page and send us your questions and comments. We’d love to help.

  • Why do I need to complete my profile?

    Completing your profile lets you apply for open positions and allows potential employers to see your profile (if you want them to).

  • Should I fill out my profile even if I haven’t graduated yet?

    Definitely. You can still search and apply for great opportunities so you graduate with a job already lined up.

  • Where do I search for a job?

    Click on "Job Search" at the top of the page. If you don’t see jobs in your area yet, don’t fret. We’re working on rolling out the Beauty Cast Network across the country. We’ll be there soon!

  • What if jobs aren’t available in my area yet?

  • Can I contact employers directly?

    When you apply to a job post (via the “Apply Now" button), your information will go directly to the person who posted the opening. We do not currently offer a way to send messages to the employer otherwise.

  • Can all employers see my profile?

    Only if you want them to. We know that you may not want everyone to know you’re looking for a new opportunity so we give you the choice. If you want to stay hidden, uncheck the box by the statement: “Yes! Please display my profile in search results so employers can find me.” This is at the top of your profile page.
